The dream was to establish a secure place for celebration and togetherness amongst family and friends, A blank canvas to create a cascade of brilliant memories. It was the dream of Adéle Luus, daughter of our CEO and founder, Frans Schutte. A plan was formulated, steps were carefully and deliberately taken, and the vision came to life on the foundation of the old family boma, next to the Braemar dam.

The overhanging wooden deck, gracious hall with high ceiling and rustic chandeliers are reflected in the cool, calm water where canopies of indigenous trees play with the mountain’s scaping the Krokodilpoort in the hazy distance.

Arch and Arrow’s doors are open, and we invite you to experience authentic Lowveld hospitality and the beautiful scenery of Braemar farm. Our venue is available for hire for any special occasion, party, or wedding.
